I could never find desk-top alarm clock with the least amount of illumination because I hate any light when I'm sleeping. I also hate the alarm sounds on clocks. I'd wake up in bad mood because of them. After getting loads of choices on my android (from birds and soft piano music, to church bell gongs) I'll never go back.
