Ariston Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 The other group buy that Jennifer started has come and gone, and I didn't join in time so I started another one. Hoping to get 30 people by September 1st. For those who didn't see the other thread, Prodigy is normally $60 per year but HS'ers can get a group rate of $12 per child per year! Instructions on how to join here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/304148646606258/ (PM if you are not on facebook but still want to join the buy.) Now, hopefully, my kids will stop complaining about how they can't keep any of the cool items they are getting ;) 1 Quote
maize Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 If you have a membership already will the group buy extend that membership by 12 months? Quote
Ariston Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 I asked for a friend of mine who is in the same boat and they said that no, you cannot renew a paid subscription at the group rate until your membership has expired. 1 Quote

Ariston Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Bumping this up and spamming this board to try to get the last 10 people we need to move forward with the group buy :) Quote
maize Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 For those who are hesitating, I'll throw in my family's testimonial: my kids have put in countless hours on math this summer because of Prodigy, and having the membership really makes a difference. The program is very customizable, you can assign just about any type of problem to your kids. By far the best math game I have come across, and at the group buy price it is a real steal. 2 Quote
Beaniemom Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) I'll add too....in the few days we have had the memberships my children have gone straight to their school work after waking up instead of the usual "can we watch tv". They know prodigy time comes after regular school work. Edited August 25, 2016 by Beaniemom 1 Quote
sweetpea3829 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Another plus here! My kids have been playing since October. We purchased the membership in March and they STILL are not burned out on it. They still are very actively engaged, plead to play almost daily, and would spend all day on it if I'd let them. I love that I can use it for spiral review and set their assignments. Great game. 2 Quote
eternallytired Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) Oh, all right. I think you'll have me--times two. ODS was recently awarded 3 months free membership for answering 10,000 questions on Prodigy (!), and it's re-inspired his sister. If I can do it for only $12 apiece, I might bite the bullet and get them both a year's membership. (ETA--Applied to join you on FB.) Edited August 26, 2016 by eternallytired 1 Quote
Teannika Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 The older three have a membership, however child number four was asking for membership this week. So good timing, I'll grab one. 1 Quote
cintinative Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Just a testimonial like the others--we did a group buy earlier this year. My boys love it! Since the membership they love it even more. 1 Quote
Ariston Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 It looks like we'll be closing September 1st so anyone interested should PM me or join the FB page for instructions on how to join the buy ASAP :) Quote
