So glad for the weekend and no immediate work deadlines.

 

Got myself & the kids up around 8:30, so they can get some work done before their afternoon frivolities.  :)  They are behind on their reading class.  The last class is tomorrow, and they needed to do a make-up for missing last week's class for the horse show.  Plus they have "homeworks" including reading half of a book and doing some online work.  So I wanted to get them as far as possible this morning.

 

Also did a bit of our read-aloud, a little housework, packed them for an overnight, and am theoretically "working."

 

Their aunt is coming to take them to her county fair and then an overnight with her dogs & puppies.

 

I will be working.  And cleaning and doing laundry.

 

I also need to find out about the race my kid wants to run at a nearby park.  It is 15 minutes after their reading class ends, so I don't know how that's going to work, but I need to look into it today.
