If you take collagen peptides, what do you put them in?

I know a lot of people have them in their coffee, but what other ways have you taken them?

Also, have you noticed a difference in the way you feel, and, if so, what?

Not sure if it is the same thing, but I take Great Lakes collagen hydrolysate in my coffee every morning. I wasn't sure it was doing anything and was going to stop buying it when I ran out, but after a few days, I noticed being significantly stiffer in my feet when I would get up from sitting. I started taking it again and have been fine. Also, my hair and nails grow like crazy.

I put it in whatever hot drink I have.  It has done nothing for my hair, skin and nails but my knees feel much better.  I can walk long distances again without my knees killing me.

Collagen isn't easily digested or absorbed. There is a lot of controversy about whether it's really doing anyone any good or absorbed.  It is absolutely too big a molecule to do anything topically. All those skin creams etc touting collagen aren't doing a darn thing but moisturize.

I do take it, but honestly, I am not convinced it does anything for me.  I think it might...might..be helping my skin and hair.

In order to maximize absorption I take it on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. I mix it 1 tablespoon collagen hydrolsate into 2 cups of warm water with some vitamin C powder. Vitamin C is supposed to help with absorption.  Then I don't have anything else for at least half an hour.

Well I bought a big jug and figured if I don't see some difference by the time I'm through with it, I won't buy another. It can't hurt me I don't guess. ;-p

I have been putting it in my coffee, which I do drink first thing. I may try the putting it in water with Vitamin C powder - I'll have to get some Vitamin C powder. I try to take a LOT of Vitamin C because big doses are supposed to help with heart health, but it makes me sick to take supplements on an empty stomach.
