We've all been battling the flu and I'm hoping today is the day we can turn the tide back to productivity.

I need to:

*Organize digital resources (this I've been meaning to do for ages and I really need to know what I've got before I order new curriculum)

*Also sort one email inbox (my email addresses are all out of control!)

*Get as much of our planned school day done as possible

*Dentist

*Call Dad

*Call Gramma to plan a visit

*Call MIL to see how SIL is healing

*Set up my school planner (and maybe the boy's planners if I can get to it)

*Print timeline stickers

*Clean off kitchen counter and table and sweep and mop and wipe down cupboards/fronts of appliances

DS just finished weed whacking part of the front yard.

School organization for new year

Swimming/Scouts

Good morning!  We are back from vacation and I need to get out of lounge mode and into school mode.  Co-op starts next week for youngest.

-coffee

-marinate London broils for dinner tonight

-exercise (Body Max II - 100 minutes of cardio, circuits, weights, and abs)

-shower and get ready

-laundry (there are probably at least 10 loads, I'm aiming for 4)   XXXXXX

-get schedule straightened out for the kid I tutor in math

-plan first few weeks of history (Homeschool in the Woods civil war so I need to print out a million pages)

-figure out a plan for Art of Argument

-read (have a 600 page book for this week's 52 in 52)

-get oldest to football practice at 2

-take youngest to get his school supplies for co-op classes

-pick oldest up from football practice at 6

-dinner (London broil, baked potato, salad)

I know you're not supposed to say this on a homeschooling board, but I've started looking forward to the day the kids go back to school.  Remember when my to-do list was send the kids off, do a little house work, a little reading, a little exercise, maybe even take a nap between working?  I miss putting nice everyday normal things on my list and crossing them off.  Summer is one great big rat race around here.

Human care is done

ds is off to work

dd is babysitting down the street.

I dropped ds off at his work

The hot water heater guy is here and I spent time having my eyes glaze over while he talked p.s.i. and pipe sizes.  I also managed all the animals so that there would be no escapees with the doors open.

I did some more health research.

Medical care is done

Pet care is done

Next:  work on the kitchen as much as I can without any water.  The water part I will do later.

Laundry is moving along nicely, the kitchen is cleaned, dinner is in the crockpot, but I have horrible cramps now. I mean cramping that doesn't feel normal for a pregnancy so I'm going to lie down.for a bit and possibly just be done tasks for the day if they don't get better.

That is what I plan on doing for the next few hours. Luckily, dh is home for another half hour and then a pbs kids movie comes on that the kids have been waiting weeks to watch. So I've got a good 2 hours before I have to get up and do anything.

Good plan.  Oh I may let the kids watch the Odd Squad movie too.  I forgot about it.

Didn't get to the pool, but did well on my list otherwise. Pool tomorrow.

Got a movie from Redbox for Dh. His foot is better, so hopefully he will go to work tomorrow.

Chx is brining. Tonigjt's veggies are leftovers or "slice n serve". Love tomato season!

Got the house clean.

Ds helped me keep my laundry humming alone and it's all done.

Was able to find a groomer to dremel Ella Bellas nails and then I stopped at the Pet Shop and gave her a bath before coming back home.

Showered and in my jammies --and supper is on the table.

Life is good and it was a super productive day!

Storms moving in and I predict and early bedtime for all.  :D

Wow!  I can finally get on!  I haven't been able to access this site since yesterday afternoon.  Things have been successfully tackled today except I have to take the hyper crazy pup for a walk again.  No matter how many times I walk her she still has accidents.

Hot water tank is in.  Old one has been carted away.

The kitchen is clean.

I ordered replacement lids for my purex oven/freezer dishes.  The old ones are cracking into pieces.

I talked to the  mortgage company.

I ran to Home Depot and got parts that the hot water heater guy told me to get for a ground.

I went to the grocery store.

Dd is back from babysitting.

I have cooked chicken stir-fry for dinner.

Doggy diapers?

Snort!  I hadn't considered that possibility.  Luckily tomorrow dd will be home from her trip and can take her dog back.  The dog is sweet but goodness, I only go to that much trouble for human puppies!  I am telling you, I think I have PTSD!  Between the puppy and the traumatized cats that keep peeing in the upstair hall bathroom on the floor mat or pooping under my son's bed (who went to world youth day - don't tell him!)  I keep thinking I smell poop or see puddles everywhere!!! LOL.  Honestly, I need a beer.

Not pet related:

Tomorrow the carpet guys are coming and installing a new carpet in our bedroom.  I had to clean out everything from under the bed.  Something that hadn't been done in years.  I found my collection of natural family planning and how to talk to kids about sex books that apparently I had stored there.  Now where do I stick those?  I may toss them in the dumpster.

I got a lot done, but I have 2 projects I'm supposed to work on overnight.  Unfortunately I'm fried after sleeping only 3 hours last night and being very busy today.  I shall try to take a nap and get up.  It will be very bad if I don't get up after a few hours.
