OH... AND apparently we are starting school "lite" on Monday so putting off those lesson plans is no longer an option.  At least I need to manage the month of August.

Everyone is home today.  I have work all day.  The kids have been assigned some work, and then they can play.  That's about it!

I should try to do some laundry though.

Good morning! Practices are over for the morning. I came home with the swimmers to find Dh and the other boys looking for the dog. She has been so bad with escaping out of the yard (appearing one morning sitting in the neigbor's kitchen with her dogs looking on), so Dh was worried. I was sure that I left her inside. We looked all over, calling, because Dh assured me he checked all the rooms in the basement. After about 30 minutes of looking, I opened the door to the basement bathroom and there she was. Like she was on a silent spa retreat.

Bad dog.

The neighbor is watching her while we are in the mountains for an extended family (pseudo) vacation. Good luck to her!

Left to do:

Instructions /bag up food

Clean house

Pack clothes

Pack food

Figure out schedule for Monday (override dh's ridiculous expectations for family get togethers)

Have a great weekend!

(They have already messed it up again)

Same here. Sigh.

Glad you got good work done on the camp lessons, though.

Dh's ankle is worse. I am worried. He continues to get up and move around for dumb stuff that I could do, even though the doc clearly told him to keep it up. If the infection seems worse tomorrow am, we go to the ER instead of church.

I really don't need another August with Dh in the hospital.

Feeling overwhelmed.  :crying:
