Book: College Success for Students with Disabilities

Recommended Posts

Our library has a book that appears to be pretty new (copyright 2016, with no previous years listed), not just a revised edition of an older book, so I thought I'd share it.

The author, Irene Ingersoll, has "recently retired" as a disability coordinator for a college in High Point, NC.

After a section that applies to all disabilities, the book is organized by types of disabilities and includes real life experiences.

She includes sections on self-advocacy, lists of colleges with robust disability services, and technology.
