Melissa in Australia Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Tried really hard to do some of the light housework and ds12 schoolwork. I am completely exhausted it was too much too soon after surgery. Ds didn't cooperate and only got math done. Twins are both taking advantage of my feeling so awful and are mucking up. Dh is exhausted from trying to be 2 parents at once - I feel so bad for him. 5 Quote

Faithr Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Oh my gosh. I can't believe my dd's dog. She is the biggest pain in the tushie! We've pet sat her before for a few hours but this is for 5 days. She barks constantly at the cats, is not housebroken (no matter what dd claims), escapes out the door the minute you crack it, delights in making you chase her all over, jumps all over everything and gets into everything. The only blessing is that by putting the cats outside she didn't bark all night. Praise the Lord. Dh is off to CA on a business trip. Won't see him until Tuesday. Today: Get through it. Plumber is coming at some point this a.m. to finish up master bathroom (hopefully) Probably will turn off water at some points. Mass at 9:15 Watch WYD stuff Take care of hyper puppy DD 15 yo wants to go shopping with friend - take and p/u? Work on research assignment Work on Latin Make spaghetti with meat sauce for 21 yo (I never make it anymore since his bro went vegetarian -but he's not here this week!) Take dd to rehearsal (last dress rehearsal! Tomorrow is opening night!) 21 yo to p/u. 5 Quote

I'd take that over everything you ds's dog is doing any day, mainly because he's confining his diarrhea to outside and his crate. But I do have to give him a bath today. I've never done that with him so who knows how it will go. 5 Quote

Take it easy - no matter what. You have only one chance to heal right. Housework an school work can wait a bit. :grouphug: 2 Quote
