Home'scool Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I love the Bourne movies! My sister was convinced she would hate them, but I got her to watch the first and we ended up doing a marathon weekend with all 3 (I don't count the one with Jeremy Renner as one of them.) Now we are psyched to go see the new one this weekend. I love when a good movie comes out! 3 Quote
sheryl Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 DH, DD and I !!! We just watched a rerun last night. Quote
Annie G Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 We can't wait!!! I like Jeremy Renner but not in a Bourne movie! We've been watching the series in anticipation...dh is like a kid waiting for Christmas. Quote
Guest Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 We own the first three, and we already have the new one in our Netflix DVD queue. My husband can't wait. Quote
TammyinTN Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Thinking of pre-ordering our tickets for the weekend. Quote
hornblower Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I am! but I'm not sure I want to see it on the big screen. They've been getting more violent. Or I'm getting more wimpy? I don't know. On one hand Matt Damon on the big screen! Otoh, much violence on the big screen! I can't decide whether to wait it out or not. I'm excited about the new Jack Reacher too but have same issue... Quote
Lady Marmalade Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 We are! We have managed to hit the theater every Tuesday this summer so far except one when we were busy. It's only $5 all day to see a movie on Tuesday, and this has been the summer of movies for us. We're going to see Secret Life of Pets tonight, and next Tuesday will be Bourne. 1 Quote
Seasider Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 I also get overwhelmed by so much violence in the big screen and will probably wait for it to come out on DVD. One thing, though, I am old, and read Ludlum's original Bourne novels back in the 1980's. I did not care for the way the movies changed the storyline. I have to tell myself that it's not really the same story... 3 Quote
lea1 Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 I can't wait! My husband and sons will be out of town for a week so my brother and I are going to see it together. Quote

I don't think my kids could read them and find nearly as much enjoyment. I have a brief window of time Friday when I am hoping to see it, otherwise I'll have to wait until the library gets a copy (which takes forever, whine, whine, whine) Quote

BarbecueMom Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Ugh, limited amount of childcare this weekend. See the Bourne movie or install baseboards? What to do, what to do... Quote
Maus Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 DH is out of town, but we plan to go as soon as he gets back! Quote
