Miss Peregrine
when he took our Little Tikes picnic table to the dump. It was twenty years old and its time had come. Five kids, countless birthdays and giggly tea parties. . .:( I got teary when he told me. Edited July 26, 2016 by Miss Peregrine

Ann.without.an.e
:( It just goes by so fast, the time. DD will be a senior in the fall and I get so sad over it. Where did the time go?
Ottakee
My husband has a solution to your problem......just keep fostering and adopting. Our olders are 28, 20 and 19. Then we have had 12 year old foster for 19 months and last month added his 8 year old brother. At this rate I will have some in diapers again soon. My husband says it keeps us young. I saw it makes me tired :-)

chocolate-chip chooky
Oh, I understand and sympathise. Our solution is to never throw things away. We have a tricycle as a front door stopper. My 22 yr old had it as a toddler. Can't bear to part with it. We've got pretty good at re-purposing over the decades. :blushing:
