eternalsummer Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 DD11 is happy with her Waldorf-methods charter, and while they drive me *crazy* it is a decent school for her, socially and inspirationally. However, she's not learning a lot in a classical sense, and she seems to crave more. She is insisting (entirely her idea) on doing math and Latin and writing after school this coming year, in a serious way. Math I can more or less cover (probably AoPS Pre-A); writing we might do with Bravewriter; Latin is a mystery. We've gone through GSWL and she'd like to keep going. I don't know Latin or desire to learn or teach it, tbh. Is there a good online class that she can take after school? Lukeion looks great but the class times don't work for us. It doesn't have to be live. She is an advanced learner, so difficulty is not really a concern as much as availability. If anyone has any other great online classes that work for afterschoolers I am open to suggestions. :) Quote
