Shei
Hi, I'm new here. Right now I'm looking for a Spanish language arts curriculum or guide for 2nd grade. It is as a first language, English is our second language. I can't believe it's so hard to find something good! Is anyone in the same situation? Thanks! Ariston
Have you looked into Rod and Staff? I don't know if that's your style or not, but it is a complete curriculum at least.
Miss Tick
Santillana is, I think, another option. That one is secular.
linguistmama
We use Santillana's Yabisà program that is used in Purto Rico. It was always a hassle to buy it from Santillana so now I purchase online from a company in Puerto Rico since the shipping is reasonable. Libreriaeducativa is the site I have purchased from for several years in a row.
Alexa Di
We are using a free curriculum from Ecuador's ministry of education. It is available online, just google: "Ciencias Naturales - Ministerio de Educación" and it will take you to a slide share. You can pick grade and subject by searching their list. We also found a great couple of indies that write non-fiction in native Spanish on Amazon: Elisabeth Nossa (for little ones) and Arelis Diaz (for a more challenging text)
