Harriet Vane Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Blatant sympathy grab here. Yes, I have pinkeye in addition to whiplash. This too shall pass... :crying: Quote
chiguirre Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 :grouphug: I got viral conjunctivitis. The ophthalmologist said it would last from 3 to 4 weeks, but it was only bad for two days. I hope yours clears up quickly too. 1 Quote
Shred Betty Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I caught an edge in January while snowboarding, hit the snow so hard my head bounced hard - had a really nasty whiplash it is really awful! Probably not as bad as vehicle crash whiplash and it was still awful. Doing anything at all hurt like $@&&. I kept really active thou and took lots of Tylenol. I feel ya! 1 Quote
Anne in CA Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 You have ALL my sympathy. Pink Eye is from the devil. Whiplash??? The Devil made that too. I am sorry. 1 Quote
Farrar Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Oh, hugs. The pinkeye will go away. The whiplash can be lifelong. Ask me how I know. Sigh. I hope you feel better soon. 1 Quote
KungFuPanda Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Daaaamn. What did you do? Kick a puppy or something? The universe has it out for you. 1 Quote
creekland Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 :grouphug: I hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, whimper or vent away. Contemplate planning some sort of reward for yourself when you feel better too - to let your mind have something good to think about. Any update from the accident? Is the other driver's insurance at least having to pay for things? 1 Quote

Is the other driver's insurance at least having to pay for things? I assume the other driver's insurance is paying. The police report makes it clear she is 100% at fault. I have spoken with the rep from her insurance and I have a case number. I have been doing PT and chiro this week. A little overwhelmed with millions of appointments. Sore, tired, moving slowly. 1 Quote
Harriet Vane Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 (edited) Wow, I'm sorry. Have you been to a doctor? Yes, I went to orthopedic urgent care right away, and I have been to the chiropractor and PT all week. I saw a gp yesterday for the pinkeye. Edited July 15, 2016 by Harriet Vane Quote

Couldn't toss a like on this, but I'm glad the police report supports you 100%. May your body heal quickly... and I'll still add that planning some sort of "reward" for yourself when it's over can give you mind something nice to think about. Rewards aren't just for kids. 3 Quote
