Financial Books/Curric for Middle Schoolers?

My 5th grader wants "budgeting" to be a school subject this year. Does anyone have any books they recommend for personal finance for middle school age?

I used the high school version of Financial Fitness for Life with my 9th grader last year, there's also a Middle School set:

DS11 Boy Scout completed Personal Management merit badge this spring, and I was quite impressed how thorough and rigorous it was.

Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but Simply Charlotte Mason has a Your Business Math course.  They track finances for one of three stores (pet shop, sports store, or bookstore).
