Meadowlark Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 We're doing later American history next year, and I can't seem to find figures that I like. The Homeschool in the Woods ones look too cluttered with too much information. I also like color or the ability to be colored. Others that I've seen are SO simple with no information. I'm looking for a picture, real is preferable over clip art, that has the date and 1-2 sentences of the important information. Is such a thing out there? Quote
Susie in MS Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 HSITW is the best that I have seen. You can color them with color pencils. 1 Quote
freelylearned Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Look at ClipartETC .edu I think. They have a big selection of nice historical black and white line art that you might be able to use to make your own figures. Quote
Angie in VA Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 HSITW is the best that I have seen. You can color them with color pencils. :iagree: I should have invested in this many years ago. Quote
Meadowlark Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 They feel like too much info for me, or maybe it's just that my kids are younger. Hmmm...maybe i'd like them when they get older though. Quote
