Nemom
I loved OneNote but the new app version in Windows 10 is really trying my patience. Anyone know how to highlight text? I swear I've spent the last two hours messing with this and googling. No luck. Keyboard shortcut or something?

Peach
The Draw tab has a pic of a highlighter and circles to pick the color.
Nemom
The Draw tab has a pic of a highlighter and circles to pick the color. Lol. Yes-but i cannot get this feature to actually work. I have clicked on the highlighter, the color I want and 1)typed what I want highlighted and 2) already had text typed and tried highlighting it. Nothing happens. No highlighted texted. How do you get it to actually highlight the text??? 😩
ikslo
Ahh, I see. My search came up with this: You need the OneNote application of Office 2016 if you need to highlight the text like Word or emails. The old verson of onenote app has highlight feature but the feature has been removed in the latest version.
ondreeuh
I use the desktop version of OneNote, which has more features than the app. I think it is still free to download?
Peach
Ahh that makes sense. Tho I seem to have two..one came in Office 2016 and the other is the free download for desktop.

Peach
Weird. Both my Office version and the free one I downloaded (recently) have highlighting. Edited July 11, 2016 by Peach
