UmMusa Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I'm thinking of putting together a Life Skills class to teach once a month in my community. It's a topic I like, I have skills in, and feel like it's not taught enough to youth. I've been browsing titles in the Rainbow Resource catalog and reading the descriptions of various texts thinking that I could base my class off of a good curriculum. I might offer a class to 8-10yr olds, but I'm really thinking of our teens. Does anyone have experience in this topic or have you done such a thing in general even with another topic (using a curriculum to make a co-op class). Ideally I'd create 6-8 classes to give over the course of a school year, bring all materials needed, and have a 60-90 minute class focused on a narrow age range to keep it interesting and skill-relevant.
