A S/O of sorts from the BBQ thread-ham roast

We were given a ham roast.  I've had it in the freezer.  I don't think it is cured or anything.  It looks like a slab of pork with a bone in it.  What would one do with it?  I'm thinking of slow cooking it, because it looks like it has the potential to be tough.  Any ideas?
