How much to tip.....massage by student

Tomorrow morning my friend's daughter is giving me massage. She is in school and needs experience for her classes. She can not charge for these as she is still in school

 

 

How much is a reasonable tip? If it matters we are in a working class area with many full time jobs starting out at $10/hr. or less.

20 years ago, when I was in school (wow, time flies) - I tipped massage students $25. And twice I got the very best massage ever. :)

She can get a tip. If it affects the answer, massages are about $35 here.

$10-15ish depending on how awesome it is? Given your hourly rates and how often you want to be on her Guinea pig list. ;)

I would love to be on her guinea pig list but she is 1/2 hour away so not super practical.

When I was a massage student, I could not accept tips. We had to do 50 massages as part of our graduation requirements.  But if you want to, $10 would be more than enough.
