The Girls' Mom Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 My dh will be spending about 2.5 weeks in TaiPei/Keelung City next month for work. He'll have some down time on the weekends to explore a little, and was trying to figure out what was worth spending his time doing. He's a semi-adventurous eater too, so food recs are welcomed as well. I've already informed him that if he ever wants to kiss me again, Century Eggs are a no go. Any recommendations? Quote
Laura Corin Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I lived there many years ago. The National Palace Museum was amazing: it had most of the treasures from the Forbidden City in Beijing. 1 Quote
Farrar Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Palace Museum. It's so much of the art that they took out of China. Everything big. You can barely even see old Chinese art in China and Western collections tend to be scattershot - all the good pieces are there. Quote
