DawnM Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 We just got a "new to us" sofa and loveseat last night. I can put towels under them to move them around today to find where I want them in the living room, but I really need to put pads under them so we don't scratch the floor. I also need a solution to some other things. But two things: 1. I am sick of those stupid felt pads that keep falling off, so I want an alternative. 2. For the sofa and loveseat, the bottoms are odd shaped. The link below shows them, they go flat and triangular and are not flat on the bottom. Any suggestions? http://www.lulusoso.com/upload/20120310/Sofa_Recliner_Mechanism.jpg This is a Leggitt and Platt relining sofa and loveseat set if that makes a difference. Quote
wapiti Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) I buy the 3M ones and super-glue them on (buy a bigger size and cut to fit odd shapes if needed). While I still replace the ones on the kitchen chairs every year, I have never replaced the ones on furniture that isn't moved often. (ETA, come to think of it, I have no foot pads on my 10 y.o. living room sofa.) Edited June 27, 2016 by wapiti Quote
