My rising 6th grader doesn't really like Prodigy but rising 7th grader loves it.  I am looking for more than just math facts since they have those down cold.  Thanks.

I've found quite a few over the years, but my kids burn out quickly on them because they are not well done. Or...they only target limited math skills, which means I have to find numerous games to cover different topics.

My rising 7th grader hated Prodigy, and she's not very interested in video games for fun or learning at all. However, she liked King of Math from http://oddrobo.com. I think she likes it's not like a video game but it's more engaging than just flashcards. You also progress through each section on its own and can switch between them whenever you want. So, if she's bored of doing one topic, she can just switch. There are versions for iPhone and Android. King of Math 2 is a lot of fun too but it's more conceptual math. King of Math reviews multiple levels of these elementary math topics:

  • Addition
  • Subtraction
  • Mixed 1
  • Multiplication
  • Division
  • Arithmetic
  • Geometry
  • Fractions
  • Powers
  • Statistics
  • Equations
  • Mixed 2
