Lady Florida. Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Is this in addition to what was paid out a while back? Quote
ebrindam Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) Mine was over $200...$220.35 to be exact. ETA: I just bought DH an Amazon Echo! Edited June 21, 2016 by ebrindam 14 Quote
Laurel Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $25.77. I may have a wee ebook addiction... If you have an addiction, I don't know what to call mine. I got $85. My addiction is so bad that I spent some this morning before I even knew about it. (I made a purchase and noticed in the email that it was covered by gift certificate money that I didn't know I had...) 3 Quote
Outdoorsy Type Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I have a 17.92 gift card balance - is that where you see the settlement amount? Quote
carriede Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $20.14 for me! And so I bought History of the Medieval World with it. :D And the Audible companion for it was less than $6. :D 2 Quote
umsami Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I got a dollar and change which I'll happily take. :) Quote
need2read Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I got $21! I must buy a lot of ebooks [emoji4]. Not sure what I will buy with it yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
purplejackmama Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Where can you see your balance? (Ugh. I need my kids to help their old non-techy mom!!) 2 Quote
Night Elf Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I got an email about it. I had no idea and still don't know what it is. But I'll take the $19 credit. 1 Quote
stephanier.1765 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $62.64. I wonder what in the world I bought during that time period? 1 Quote
stephanier.1765 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Is this in addition to what was paid out a while back? Yes, this is a separate settlement. 1 Quote
Rachel Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $6.92. I was surprised it was that much because I rarely buy books. A couple FB friends got over $200, then one of their friends commented she got $429! That's an ebook addiction! 3 Quote

Incognito Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Odd, I didn't get anything. I spend a fair bit. Maybe it isn't apple-related enough? Quote
Lady Florida. Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) Yes, this is a separate settlement. Oh, I just realized. The first one was with publishers. This one is with Apple, who decided to fight rather than take the original settlement. I don't see anything in my account though. :( I guess i didn't buy the right books during that time. ETA: I did get a credit. Gmail put the notice under Promotions so I didn't notice it. After checking my Amazon account I searched my email and found it. I got $20.14 which is more than I got from the settlement with publishers. That one was only $2.44. Edited June 21, 2016 by Lady Florida. 2 Quote

ErinE Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $97.00! Whoo-hooo! I was worried I'd have the highest when I started scrolling through the thread, but $200 beat me easily. Time to go shopping! 3 Quote
JessieC Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I have a kindle, download ebooks fairly often, and have an amazon prime account, but do not see any email or anything in my account. Anyone know why? Quote
Amber in SJ Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 $190. I have decided not to tell Dh. He might start to think I spend too much on ebooks  Amber in SJ 6 Quote

callapidder Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 My husband forwarded me his Amazon email, excited about the $6 he got. Then I had to confess I got $71. Now he's wondering how many ebooks I am buying. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 3 Quote
dsmith Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Woo hoo! $29 - not too shabby. :hurray: I didn't even know about this. I thought there was some other settlement earlier from the publishers that I received a gift card from. Lately I seem to be getting all sorts of settlements without knowing anything about it. $280 from an old bank account, $250 from a different account, $100 from some insurance related settlement... They always show up at a time when I could really use the money, too. 3 Quote
JulieA97 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 $8.60 which is strange because we buy quite a bit of ebooks for our Kindle. We buy a LOT from amazon in general, must not be buying the right things! Still its $8.60 more than we had before... I haven't heard about this lawsuit, what was it about? Quote
MomtoCandJ Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I got one for a dollar and some change from Barnes and Noble but nothing as far as I have seen from Amazon :( Quote
happypamama Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I've bought a few ebooks from Amazon for the Kindle, but I didn't get a credit. Don't know why. Quote
SounderChick Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 59.39 and I didn't think I bought many books between the library and a gifted kindle unlimited account. Quote
