Sebastian (a lady)
I got this in email from College Board. It is a set of sample responses to the AP English Literature open ended question (the question where students get to pick which work they will use to answer the prompt). There is a full range of scores from 9 down to 1. They all refer to Othello to answer the prompt. The last page has scoring comments for each essay. I think this is a great resource for AP students and also for other students working on essay writing (since flaws in essays are not unique to AP exam responses). https://secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/othello-sample-set.pdf?ep_mid=11256698&ep_rid=188563827

Arcadia
Thanks. It is nice that the first sample is written in a mixed of cursive and scribe.
