mom31257
I have been asked to teach a planning class for new homeschoolers in our support group. Would any of you be willing to help me create a list of planning websites and methods? Links would be great if you have the time! Thank you! I'll link some I know about already. 73349
Homeschool Planet is another one. It has a free 30-day trial. Some of us just make spreadsheets in Excel or Google Docs.

Elizabeth 2
http://www.home-school-inc.com/ PER/Home School, Inc. It's free! Pretty easy to use and takes you through the process of planning from Annual Calendar setup to daily lessons. http://www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/blog/2013/01/workbox-system-video-tutorial.html She has workboxes as well as some great simple planners on her website. purpleowl
Not so much for the big overview planning, but for the day-to-day stuff, spiral notebooks.
BlsdMama
 (Why is there not an evil laugh emoticon?) http://amongstlovelythings.com/spiral-notebooks/ To plan, I make a list of goals for each kid, planned curriculum, and a reading list. I tend to pick curriculum that is "do the next thing" with the exception of books lists for History and Literature. However, with lists, these become "do the next thing." So the above method works best for me - not to drive me forward, but to keep a tab on what we ACTUALLY do do so that on those days when I feel like nothing gets done, I can SEE we actually make progress.... Because it isn't a planner filled with best laid plans that I failed to do perfectly. Instead it's a real account of what we really DID! :hurray:
sacapano
I'd be happy to send my own excel version of a lesson planner that I use - it allows daily view for printing out the child's daily assignment check off list and a weekly view per child. It includes a report card for in 2 semesters. It's basic in that you enter all the lessons for each subject in one sheet. It's currently set up for data entered from 08/29/2016 through 06/05/2017.
