I got the Crystal Castle for Christmas when I was five. We have home video of me screaming and lifting the huge box over my head then dropping it. It wasn't broken, or that video would be more sad than funny. My mom saved it and my kids play with it occasionally.

A few years ago when my sister was in the hospital having one of her babies, her previously youngest child was very sad missing his parents in the middle of the night. We didn't have cable or movies for him to watch, but my mom found He-Man and She-Ra on the weird antenna kids' channel at 2:00am.

I owe my first bee sting to She-ra. Or maybe it was my lazy babysitter ;). I had awesome She-ra high-tops, but I was 5 and needed help getting them on. So my (adult) sitter sent me outside barefoot to run through clover-filled grass. I was stung on the bottom of my foot :(.

I had never watched She-Ra but dh had ... so when we discovered the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas special on Amazon Prime we HAD to watch it.  And he HAD to call his niece who used to watch She-Ra and tell her we were watching it.

That's certainly a unique Christmas movie.  I don't know that it will become part of the traditional rotation that we watch every year.  But you guys should probably watch it.

I must have been really young because I honestly can't remember any of the shows though I remember watching the show.   I even had the Crystal Castle and the blue horse and the pink horse but I can't remember their names.  Maybe I wasn't as into it as my parents thought I was.

I loved She Ra!!! I didn't know they made toys, though. This thread made me look it up on YouTube and there are actually episodes, which I may or may not have gotten sucked into watching. I loved that opening song and music. I thought she was so cool.

I didn't know they made toys either.  Never saw them myself.

Ummm, I was already an adult by the time He Man and She Ra became a thing.

I remember my little brother was very into HeMan and Thundercats. I was in my upper teens...I guess 16-17.

I LOVED She-Ra, but never had any of the toys. My dad used to call her "She-Ra, Princess of Powder," which infuriated me to no end.

But on the other hand, I did have a huge herd of My Little Ponies, and a half dozen Jem dolls, so I wasn't totally deprived.
