Queserasera Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 For your dc, what would you use? I'm thinking about using Saferstein's text with the online questions and quizzes. I'm looking to add some "true crime" books. The Poisoners Handbook looks interesting. What crimes would you add? The Lindbergh kidnapping? Thoughts? Quote
purplelily Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 A field trip to the local FBI and maybe a morgue. Quote
katilac Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Definitely not the Lindbergh kidnapping; that case was a red hot mess. I would want one where the evidence was properly gathered and preserved, where the use of forensics would be clearly illustrated. The Lindbergh case really wouldn't be a great forensic example even if the evidence were less hotly disputed. I'm running out but will try to think of some better ones. Our sheriff's department does forensic tours, you should definitely check on that. Quote
