I remember taking it off while typing at some point. I think. But no idea where it is. I've looked. Next week I'll deep clean the house and look more. But darn it, I'm starting to think I'm going to end up having to buy another one. Sometimes being absent minded sucks. (but the new Alta looks pretty nice.....)

oh wow! that app is awesome! I'm sure my fitbit is dead now, so wouldn't work, but for next time!

There's an app that scans for bluetooth and can tell you what bluetooth devices are in the vicinity.  I lost my fitbit a couple of weeks ago, but was out of the house when I lost it and, unfortunately, even with the app I couldn't find it.

 

Lucky for me dh is using something different now, so I took over his old fitbit.
