momee
trying to find something, but all I keep coming up with is cream of...recipes
zoobie
It's easy to make a homemade cream of whatever. Make a light roux with 1 TB of butter and flour for every cup of liquid. For a can of soup, I do a scant 2 TB each and add 1/2 milk and 1/2 stock to make about 1.5 cups. It goes faster if you hear the liquid, so I nuke it in a glass measuring cup for 45 seconds. Whisk flour into melted butter, let it cook one minute, then whisk in liquid. Let it simmer until thickened. momee
http://www.recipesformyboys.com/2013/04/chicken-stuffing-casserole.html I ended up making this because I couldn't wait for a response :(. Your info is helpful for next time though, thank you! This - "guys!!" - this was amazing! SAID in my best toddler voice. I can't stop taking bites of it as it cools on the counter. I used the Williams and Sonoma box of focaccia stuffing I got on sale for reduced price, then 75% off clearance. OH MY the smells!!!!!

gardenmom5
eewww. I can't imagine any chicken and stuffing recipes that would use cream of anything. just . . . ewww. use chicken broth in place of any "cream" in the recipe.
