chiguirre Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 I just did Trinqueta's on the accelerated board, so here are Geezle and GW's: Geezle He had a fabulous freshman year. He learned a lot and matured so much. His biggest accomplishment is being selected to represent his high school at the national Best Buddies conference. I'm a little nervous about putting him on a plane with just a group of high school students but I know that he can do this. On a more day to day note, I realized this morning that he got himself up, got dressed, poured his coffee, ate his breakfast, brushed his teeth and waited for the bus all by himself. I've worked my way out of a job! Of course, come August I'll probably have to start at square one again but the learning curve should be quicker. GW His language continues to develop even though he's 16. He can almost always explain what he wants now and our lives are so much easier. He's doing well at his job site. He prepares his own breakfast and lunch and does his own shopping with just a bit of supervision. Most importantly, he's doing much better managing his frustration and hasn't hurt anyone all year. 11 Quote
