Amazon fire question

Recommended Posts

Sounds like an accessibility setting to me.  Folks with mobility issues may need it to be on "double tap" to avoid accidentally single tapping when they didn't intend to.  Each model of Fire is a little different but try browsing through the settings menu:

Swipe down from the top.

Choose Settings.

Choose Accessibility.

Now look for anything related to touching/tapping. Turn OFF anything related to "Screen Reader" or "Explore by Touch."
