ProudGrandma Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) I am so frustrated. I go through so many sprinklers and I still can't find one that consistently works. Can some one help me find a good one...actually I need 3, so they can't be too expensive. Oh I usually use the pulsating ones...they cover the areas that need the best....when they actually work. thanks. Edited May 27, 2016 by NEprairiemom Quote
hornblower Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 If you want durable, IMO you have to spend & buy from good places. http://www.leevalley.com/en/hardware/page.aspx?p=44806&cat=2,2280,33159&ap=1 Lee Valley also has some other sprinklers that might work for you. ProudGrandma Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 I just bought 4 cheap ones and they get stuck while running. I have purchased more expensive ones and they also get stuck. Maybe I need a different style, but I have no idea which type. It's just frustrating. I have wasted more money on sprinklers than I want to admit. Quote
hornblower Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 The 2 brands the garden people always mention are Gilmour and Melnor + a couple of the German brands. The good ones have brass nozzles. I think you have water with a high mineral content you have to clean the nozzles. The good ones come with a little poky tool that you use to clean the gunk out of the nozzles. Quote
