bluebonnetgirl Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I would like to put together a summer American History program using Story of the USA (Book 1 :Explorers and Settlers) as a spine. I already have the book, so would like to make use of it. http://www.christianbook.com/story-the-book-explorers-and-settlers/franklin-escher/9780838816318/pd/371631 What are your family picture books from this era? Has anyone successfully paired literature with this spine? So far I have these 3 Maestro books on hold: http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Time-Discovery-Americas-Americans/dp/0688115128?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_5&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/Exploration-Conquest-Americas-1500-1620-Paperback/dp/0688154743?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_3&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/New-Americans-Colonial-1620-1689-American/dp/0060575727?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_6&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER I would welcome other books with pictures, as well as videos, and simple art projects to aid comprehension. Thanks much! Quote
