sheryl Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) I LOVE the Eat Well, Embrace Life (brand) Spicy Lentil Hummus. I bought my Vitamix and it arrived Thursday! And, yes, the first recipe I made was trying to make this hummus. It turned out good but not thick enough. We do not have a Pinterest acct and I'm interested in getting one. Then I can make at home! If any of you have an acct. would you search for the above phrase and send me the recipe? :)Gee, I assumed it was a recipe. Maybe it's not. Edited May 21, 2016 by sheryl Quote

Yes, it is a brand called "Eat Well, Embrace Life". I've been buying this hummus for a few years now but would like to make it homemade. Thanks for checking! Quote
Jean in Newcastle Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 There are homemade spicy lentil hummus recipes on Pinterest as well as spicy lentil dips (I don't know what the difference is). You might be able to tell if any are close matches by reading the ingredients. If you want me to invite you to Pinterest, PM me your e-mail address. 1 Quote

I know I'd like far too many things on there and hence the reason why I don't want to sign up. LOL! I find it time consuming to have email, text, etc. That's just me. So, I'm asking a Pinterest user if there is a recipe that matches that description. I don't know if people share recipes or not on P. Quote
kitten18 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Pins are just pinned from websites. You should be able to find all the same things by googling. Pinterest is really just a way of keeping all your bookmarks visually in one place. 4 Quote
marbel Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I just googled "lentil hummus recipe" and got a lot of hits. Green lentils, red lentils... loads of recipes there. If you are signing up for Pinterest reluctantly just so you can find recipes, don't bother. As kitten18 said, you can find the same things by googling. (It is a nice way to save things; that said, I deactivated my account years ago and haven't missed it.) 1 Quote
sheryl Posted May 21, 2016 Author Posted May 21, 2016 ok, thanks, amy and Margaret! that explains it well for me. i'll look again. I had no idea these were "pins" aka actual websites. I appreciate it! Quote
