UmmIbrahim Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Hi, My middle son has been taking an online Pre-algebra class (www.liveonlinemath.com for reference) and has an end of year project on the statistical analysis of data. He has created a survey, but needs lots of responses to get a good sampling to draw some conclusions. If you (and your children!) could take a few minutes to fill out his survey, we would appreciate it. The survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZXPJMFX Just as an aside about the math classes, (because I'm always curious about reviews of different programs myself) I have two of my boys taking these courses. They meet live online three times a week (there are options for a once a week live class with twice a week video lessons as well), and have been truly amazing. My oldest is completing the Geometry course, and my middle son is completing Pre-Algebra. We took the classes with John Bovey, the owner of the company and a truly great math teacher. We will be continuing with this next year because it was so successful in our homeschool this year, so it might be something to look into if you are looking for math options for the future. Thanks in advance with any help you can provide with the survey! 2 Quote
UmmIbrahim Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Thanks so much! He is getting a huge kick out of checking his results throughout the day, "Got another teacher mom! Someone likes combinatorics! x% of people so far love math" etc. etc. This has been extremely engaging for him to see his live data fluctuations :) Edited May 20, 2016 by UmmIbrahim Quote
fourisenough Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Fun survey. Will he share the results with us? 1 Quote
UmmIbrahim Posted May 22, 2016 Author Posted May 22, 2016 Sure @fourisenough! I'll have him work up a summary to post here. In his class he will be presenting a "whiteboard" (they use the Blackboard Collaborate software, and a whiteboard is like a powerpoint slide), and it should be easy enough to summarize that data and share it. I appreciate all of the responses. He's good on that front and is starting to work the numbers :) 1 Quote
