umsami Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Heard this today on NPR, sounds fab... http://www.wnyc.org/story/eureka-moment-makes-reading-easier/ This is the app http://www.beelinereader.com/ Quote
displace Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Great! I'll have to see what it can work with. We're still on audiobooks but one day soon we'll need more. 1 Quote
Ravin Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I took their "try it" test and it said I read 11% faster with it, so I installed it on Chrome. 1 Quote
UCF612 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I did the test. It said I read 11% faster. I don't know if I answered the questions correctly but with the first test I remembered reading what it asked. With the second I had no recollection of reading any thing they asked about. So I read faster but with far less comprehension! 1 Quote
bodiesmom Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Oooooh......this sounds promising. Thanks for sharing! Quote
Tap Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I have dyslexia and ADD. I found the text easier to read for the first paragraph, but then I got distracted by it and lost focus on the topic. It said I didn't improve with the reader. Honestly, I felt that I read faster without it. Quote
