shinyhappypeople Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Can anyone point me to a well laid out curriculum that covers countries and cultures for middle school? Unit study and project-based is best. MFW is way, way, way too expensive. I can spend $50-100 for all the required pieces for two kids. We have a good library and I can usually find most books I need there. Any ideas? Quote

Soror Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Has anyone used the "Visits to..." series from Simply Charlotte Mason? It has piqued my interest. I've not but I previewed it pretty heavily and thought the samples were pretty lame. We used some of Winter Promise's Children Around the World- it may be exactly what you are looking for- we used units for Japan and China and then I made my own for other countries. Quote
