Get everything ready to leave for the day (swim bag/gear, kids)

Laundry

School (our internet is experiencing major suckage today...took me 15 minutes to pull up a plain e-mail, which will make the self-paced online courses not happen...AGAIN). This is so incredibly frustrating! My budget is incredibly limited for school right now, but the only reliable way I have to get lectures for courses are on DVDs -- which either don't exist or I have to pay $$$$ for. I tried downloading some of the "free" ones found at Open Culture and other places and nope...those aren't working for us either. This is the worst internet we've had in a very long time. But, it's been like this all week. We keep calling to complain about the corroded wires out at the box, and they keep telling me it's the house. UM, NO. Everyone here has a concrete house. The internet HAS worked better (in the past), it's just gotten progressively worse. I can't even use our phone (I can hear people, but they can't hear me). Our neighbors (less than .5 km away) have internet 7x as fast as ours. Can you tell I'm beyond frustrated???)

Speech Therapy

Yesterday was so busy, I never took a shower.  That hardly ever happens!

Today I got my first look at my on line courses for my Masters in Theology.  The 8 week course recommends 15 hours a week for study. GULP!  How am I gonna find that time!  The little research class only asks for 2 to 3 hours. . .

Must. Stay. Calm.

Anyway, today:

breakfast school

Latin

History

Shower!

Mass at noon

hopefully I can go looking at tiles and other bathroom stuff with my sister today (we are both way too busy and kept making plans that only fall thru).

Clean up house some

dinner?  I've had no clue about dinner all week.

14 yo to swing dance this evening (not sure if I'm driving or not)

oldest son's radio show

All week I had a few little tasks for "work" (it's an unpaid volunteer gig) that I put off and put off and put off.  Today, I finally sat down and got it done.  It took less than an hour.  I'm not sure why I do that to myself.  Should have just done it on Monday...

Friday:

tidy up

shower/dress/hair

Costco for rolls and a chicken, etc

do work stuff

send work emails

check back on emails through the day

wash laundry for dd

pack up for volleyball tournament

drive to the coast for tomorrows tournament

walk on the beach even if it's raining...

Dinner - chx nachos or chx taco salad. Baked potato for Ds, who is keeping food down fine now.  :hurray:

Off to the store for a chx, some chips and a movie.

Thinking about tomorrow's list makes me tired already....

Errands completed. Nothing done at home and now it feels too late to start cleaning floors. I'm going to try and get the medical receipts at least scanned in, even if I don't submit them today.

Angi---you poor thing...in labor....I think I would have cried.

Dh gets up at 3:30am and leaves by 4:30 am and some nights doesn't get home until 6 or 7 pm....I look forward to spending more time with him when we move...this has been a long almost 5 year assignment.

Wow, Tammy and Angi, doesn't the commuting around this area suck???  I have been driving all over the place mostly to Chantilly and Manassas and the traffic is awful and the drivers are insane!

Anyway, I woke up in a mood to conquer!

Hopefully, the sky, which has been dumping water on us for almost two weeks, will take a break and let us clean the garage.  Dh really, really wants to get that done.

I want to clean off all horizontal surfaces in our main living areas.  They are covered in clutter.

Kids need to work on their big history paper/I need to do some of my own homework

This evening, the teens and I are going to see some of their friends in a production of Our Town.

Happy Saturday!
