khope1 Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 For those of you who have or are using this book with or without another program, which copyright/version of the book did you use(or what was the photo on the cover)? I looked briefly and see that there are many versions out there. I am planning on using it with Exploring Education for my physics program next year. Thanks in advance. Quote
HollyDay Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 We used the one with the ferris wheel on the cover Quote
khope1 Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 I forgot to ask if anyone also bought the teacher edition with it as well? Quote
Penelope Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) I also used the one with the Ferris wheel, along with the teacher edition, the Practicing Physics book, and the Problems in Physics book with solutions. I found the teacher edition helpful, though I could have gotten by without it. We used many of the questions at the end of the chapters, and it talks about which chapters are most important and which can be cut if you are shorter on time. There are also extra problem sets at the end of the teacher manual, but the only time I used them was to pull some questions for a final exam. I preferred the Problem Solving and Practicing Physics books for extra problems. Edited May 10, 2016 by Penelope Quote
khope1 Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 Penelope, Thanks so much for the reply. I didn't know about the other two books, so I am off to do some research! Quote
