6packofun Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 And is cornstarch bad because it can feed yeast or something? I can't decide which info on these powders is accurate, argh! I need some kind of powder because dh and I both get chafing and/or rashes occasionally on our inner thighs or other areas and no it has nothing to do with TeA since I know your mind went there. Tap Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 There was a short period of time that I used cornstarch on dd17 when she was little. I honestly, can't remember why. LOL It worked for what we needed and it didnt cause us any type of fungus issues. I think that the womans version of Anti-monkey Butt powder is cornstarch with calamine powder, so that may be an alternative to talc, but more than just cornstarch. You may also want to look at the ingredients in Gold Bond powders. I know there are a few versions of it. Quote
zoobie Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Body Glide, Monistat Anti-Chafing cream, or regular old stick deodorant Quote
fdrinca Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Not at all baby powder, but definitely helps with chafe: http://www.jockey.com/catalog?department=women&category=underwear&style=slipshort#/page=1 I Quote
bolt. Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I use deodorant/antiperspirant as a very effective preventative for thigh and under-book chafing. Quote
