Momto6inIN Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I just received a new catalog and am drooling over it. I don't need anything in it, but I am creating new courses in my head to make my kids take just so I can buy some of them. Specifically the new Greek 101 and the 2 National Geographic Photography ones. Thanks a lot everybody ... my budget hates you! 4 Quote
theelfqueen Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I decided I'd stick with ones available at the library... then I subscribed to audible to get some lol 2 Quote
Arcadia Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 My kids are listening to How to listen to and understand great music as their lullaby daily since this is a library copy. My local libraries have more Great Courses CD and DVD than we have time for. 1 Quote
Momto6inIN Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 Our library is small and dinky and doesn't have anything good. There is a better one about 35 miles away, but I rarely get there. So if I want them, I have to buy them. Quote
Momto6inIN Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 Next thing you know you'll have a Great Courses Plus subscription. Will not google this ... Will not google this ... Will not google this ... 2 Quote
foxbridgeacademy Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) Will not google this ... Will not google this ... Will not google this ... Totally worth the $20 per month I spend. I couldn't teach H.S. without it, well not as easily. *TGCPlus doesn't have all the courses from the catalog but Greek 101 is available. Edited May 3, 2016 by foxbridgeacademy Quote

KarenNC Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 We found a crate of GC history dvd courses for $10 at the Goodwill this weekend. :) Don't forget the Audible.com option for courses where you don't need video. 2 Quote
LisaKinVA Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Until our streaming speed improves, the only TGC courses I have access to are the ones I own, or purchase. Our library doesn't have them :( 1 Quote
