ktgrok Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I'm looking for a new sweetener and I know I am picky about stevia...so many taste bitter to me. I'm a super taster, as confirmed by those papers that you lick, and most brands are gross. Not all but most. So, should I go with the gentle sweet, or will the super sweet be okay? The super sweet seems more economical since you use less. Quote
BlsdMama Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I despise stevia apparently. And truvia. And Super Sweet. I have not yet ordered Gentle Sweet. I'm optimistic but I want to stay that way so I don't order.... LMK if it's good. 1 Quote
Liz CA Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Rapadura by Rapunzel which is sugar but processed very differently from regular white sugar. I use it 1:1 ratio. http://www.amazon.com/Rapunzel-Organic-Whole-Sugar-Ounce/dp/B0046HEPRM Read product description in link. Quote
Just Kate Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I've been doing THM for 2.5 years now and I LOVE gentle sweet. Yes, I use more, but it is so good!!! 1 Quote

BlsdMama Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I think I'm going to get it. Plus, isn't xylitol supposed to prevent ear infections or cavities or something, lol? Yes, totally serious on the cavities. Kind of funny when you think about it. LMK if you like it. I see a lot of fan girl reviews but I don't know if I trust them and I have a $16 bag of Super Sweet in my cupboard NOT being touched so I'd love to hear if you find it tolerable. Quote
TammyinTN Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Gentle sweet is by far the best sweetener for my THM family. Quote
TammyinTN Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Kelly...I had a problem with super sweet and just added a little bit to gentle sweet to stretch it a little and didn't notice the aftertaste like I did with it alone. Quote
