Faithr Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 So tired. Went to be late, woke up with headache at 4 a.m. Boo hoo hoo! Tidy up Kids up and breakfast school Shower before I head out to appt to buy countertops! Yikes. Meanwhile 14 yo should be doing math homework Mass at noon (or will I be too tired?) Take 14 yo to math tutor p/u 14 yo and take to prom location where she is meeting lots of friends to do each others' make up and hair. Don't have to worry about p/u 14 yo because she's spending night at friend's house. Nap at some point so I can stay up to hear oldest son's radio show. 2 Quote

ScoutTN Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Take kids to tutorial. Coffee with a friend Drop dog at dog-sitter's. Pick up kids. Pack the van. Camping with Dd's AHG troop this weekend! In the rain, most likely. Pack snacks. Camping food with the troop is way too carby for me and Dh. Need our salami and snack cheese and hard boiled eggs! Cook dinner and pack it. Leave for state park before traffic is too terrible. "See" y'all Monday. :seeya: 2 Quote

SKL Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 TGIF. I wish I were farther along on my 4/30 work deadlines. :) My kids don't have school today. I told them I will be giving them work after they get up. I haven't heard a peep from them so far. (It's 10:46 over here.) Obviously I'm a slave driver. So basically today will be all about work for me. The kids can take care of themselves and the little bit of housework that can't wait. Maybe the kids will go to gymnastics in the evening, maybe not. We'll go out to dinner, pick up some groceries, and then watch some DVD shows in the night. 1 Quote

I have stuff to work on for school, but I'm in the mood. ;) Have fun! 1 Quote

MysteryJen Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 So....can't send an email...so will vent here. If you (coach) decide to have a team dinner on Friday and tell people about on Tuesday, but don't send an email out until Thursday, don't also turn the dinner into a team meeting. The girls said on Tuesday that they couldn't come. Logistics are difficult and it is dd2's birthday and she doesn't want to spend it with the horrible mean Girls who have made this year absolutely terrible. And continue to do so, wrecking dd1's senior year on this team. My girls won't go unless the coach requires it and he refuses to require anything.... I feel like I have PTSD when I go to meets or run into certain people. Really, not good. Quote
