PrairieSong
I'm bringing cookies to our daughter's baby shower on Sunday, probably more than one kind. I have recipes but I'd like to try something new. What are you very favorite cookie recipes?
AmandaVT
I love raspberry almond thumbprint cookies. I make them every year at Christmas. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/10222/raspberry-and-almond-shortbread-thumbprints/?event8=1&prop24=sr_thumb&e11=raspberry%20almond%20shortbread%20thumbprint&e8=quick%20search&event10=1&e7=recipe

Kelly on the prairie
I just went to a shower a couple of weeks ago where they served make your own fruit pizzas. They had nice sized sugar cookies, a cream cheese type frosting for each person to apply and assorted fruit like blueberries, strawberries, grapes, banana slices etc. I was so impressed and it was yummy.
Lara in Colo
I love the fruit pizza idea!! I was thinking of something like that, and it would be soooo easy too, just make regular sugar cookies and have a bowl of cream cheese/sour cream/sugar/lemon extract -- and a bunch of cut fruits!! I make lemonade cookies every year on the 4th of July-- they are a big hit-- basically a shortbread cookie with lemonade concentrate brushed on--I am not at home, if you want the recipe, let me know and I can get it later

I like the idea of doing it with individual cookies. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
PrairieSong
Don't like pizza anymore. It's better to serve noodles most of the time. This is much better for all ages. Okaaayyy...well I don't think I will be bringing noodles to the baby shower, lol. I'm looking for cookie recipes.

KatieJ
Ooh, those are good! I've had them a lot at Christmas time but haven't made them myself. They are so easy! Bonus , you can bake tons at one time. Search for Mexican wedding cakes or Russian tea cakes. My 60 plus year old recipe from my mom is called Butter Balls. They re all good
