3 ladybugs
I know this is a long shot but I thought I would ask. Only one book has been released so far. I only found it because I was going to write CAP about SSL and how much grammar it covers in the whole series. https://classicalacademicpress.com/series/well-ordered-language/ My son is currently using GUM grammar from ZB. We are having issues with though as he flies through the worksheets but fails the tests. WOL uses chants and so it is multi sensory. That probably would be better for him. Just looking for real world experience with it before I try it. :)
AdventuresinHomeschooling
I posted on this a couple of weeks ago and didn't get much response. It just came out last month so I don't think anyone has really had a chance to use it. One thing I noted was that it appeared to do sentence parsing vs. sentence diagramming. 3 ladybugs
Not to be nieve, but what is the difference? I didn't realize it was that new.
SilverMoon
Diagramming is putting the words in the sentence on a literal diagram based on what job each word is doing. What diagramming looks like. Parsing is writing the specific part of speech over each word. PP/preposition over each preposition, AV/action verb over each action verb, and so on. 3 ladybugs
I must have had the parsing in school. Those diagrams look awful! Sent a text to DH though and he thought that is what our son needs. So I am confused.
