It looks like there are two; WG and WH and one not quite ready yet.  Has anyone used these and can share your pros and cons on them?  Good or bad, I'd like some real reviews if anyone has any. Thanks.

I have only looked at them- a friend of mine uses them. I know she loves them- her kids love them as much as they can "love" school. I loved the looks of the geography one, the notebooks are beautiful and they use great resources.

If you do not get many replies here and have specific questions let me know and I will ask her.

I've enjoyed Heart of Dakota K-8th. I have always enjoyed the books and I like how it is highly customizable. I love that is uses great resources and not all books from same publisher. All the lesson planning is done for you, easily laid out.  I'm not continuing HOD for High School because

my son wants to play a sport in college, so his courses will need to be evaluated by NCAA. I believe Heart of Dakota is worthy of HS, but some of the books used are not clearly labeled HS, which could be a problem.  For example, Mapping the World with Art is labeled 10 years and up. It is one book out of many that make up World Geography credit, but I am afraid they won't take the time to evaluate the whole picture.

Don't they only have 1/2 credit for science for some years? Or am I misremembering. I wonder why they do that.

I'm not a HOD user, but that had me curious so I looked on their website. This is what I saw.

In high school each of their science years is 1 credit so far.

World Geography year has 1 year credit of IPC (integrated physics and chem)

World History has biology (1 credit)

and the US History 11th grade has 1 credit chemistry (using Wile's new text)

Thanks. I just looked and it's foreign language (Spanish) where they schedule 1/2 credit each year.
