DD11 is getting a little frustrated with social media...and possibly with the playlist of our local top 40 station-here's her newest blog post :)

I find that logging off for a few weeks helps. Or quitting all together. (I only use dedicated forums, not general social media)

Its very easy to find songs and create your own play lists so you're not at the mercy of the Top XX lists.

 

Does she know how to burn her own CDs (or have an MP3 Player?) Its a quick fix.

Social media is a big part of her advocacy work-which makes sense-her goal is to reach to girls her age, and social media is where they are. That's also why she started writing song parodies. But the fact that a local school was "invaded" by snakes (a single grey rat snake, probably driven inside due to the recent heavy rains. When I used to teach, I relocated several every year from inside my portable and other teachers' portables. I never bothered to call the media, just moved the snake).
