moonlight
What would you do in a 6-8 hour (3-4 weeks) creating writing class/workshop in the summer? Want it to be fun! For two different age groups and classes: 8-10 year olds that are reluctant writers AND for 11-14 year olds that like to write! SilverMoon
STEM to Story has some shorter projects that would work. Not all of them could really fit under creative writing though. Like design your own airplane and run flight tests. Then write clear instructions for building it and test those on the other kids. Compare the planes they make from your instructions with your own, and of course test them all again. The older kids may enjoy the zombie apocalypse project.
moonlight
Just added the book to my wish list! It looks really neat, even if I don't use it for this class.. Going to edit my post a little.
