Just have been doing some se%ual reproduction unit as part og Biology for DS. Part of it touched on puberty, male and female, in the Usborne Science Encyclopedia. I might just consider that to be enough for the time being, but I wouldn't mind throwing in another book or two on male puberty and/or human reproduction. I can't remember what were the books on this subject, though. For my older son, I never did have a particular book, but my DD had the American Girl body book. That was great and I would happily use something like it for DS11 (ending 5th grade).

DS found the Body Book for Boys useful.

I found this book helpful as well. Other books went into too much detail, and this was the right amount of information regarding physical and emotional development. We have ongoing discussions about more mature subjects.

Follow up on The Body Book for Boys: if you used this book, did you go through the book with them as lessons, or did you give it to them to keep for their own reference? Or maybe both?

Mine read it at 8, then we gave him a copy when he turned 10. Initially he had some questions and facts to share, but now it's just for personal reference. We didn't make a big deal out of it.
