Go over my calendar for the week, make daily lists of "must do's" (it's a hectic week with a lot to juggle).

Cook beans (I have a black bean salad to make for a catering job on Wednesday...so I have a bunch of black beans cooking in two crock pots all day).

Shower

School

Laundry

Finish cleaning main floor (stairs, windows, floor, table)

Take everything to the basement.

Clean basement hallway.

Clean basement school table

Leave for track, errands and scouts.

Home, drain, cool, and pack beans up for fridge/freezer.

Go to bed...

Is this board being super slow this morning?  It took me forever to get on here!

Anyway, good morning, everyone!

Yesterday I didn't eat any refined carbs and I took a long walk.  Hooray for me!

Today:

Exercise and eat healthy foods

Breakfast school

Make sure the kids hit the books hard this a.m

Deep cleaning of our upstairs this p.m.

Babysit little 6 month old - take him for a walk if weather is good

Dinner is Palak Paneer (just discovered this at Trader Joe's - delicious!)

After dinner - homework

Hi guys.  Not a bad morning so far.  Lots of work to do today.

  • Pet care.  [done]
  • Clean kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter.  [done]
  • A little exercise.  [done]
  • Personal tax stuff.  [done]
  • Work.
  • Clean the rest of the house (for my sanity) [done].
  • Laundry.  [2 loads in so far, 1 to go.]
  • Some more exercise?
  • Kids' work.
  • Kids to swim.
  • Kids to gym.
  • Read-aloud or more kids' work?
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

Level the left side of the front yard around the egress window with dirt and get ready to plant grass. :)
*(Not a huge project, only about 6'x8')

Take a LOT of pictures
Do some school with kiddos - outdoors today
Get lights on the seeds
Pick up DS from class

Laundry

Pretty wonderful, light day here - weather is BEAUTIFUL.  We're just planning on living and breathing outside today!

ETA:

The "not huge" project?  Send help.  Send ibuprofen.  Send a heating pad.  What was I thinking? It looked so easy.  We worked for about five hours and we DID get it done, but oh my wow.  I admit it looks SO much better.

Assuming I can actually move and get out of bed tomorrow - the other side!

Hello!

Dh's spring break is this week. We took ds to our church at 5:30 this morning. A group left on a mission trip for the next few days. It's the first time he's gone away with a group, so any prayers are appreciated!

Now, we are driving to TN to see dd at school!

Hope y'all have a great day!!

I am coming back to this thread because I am having a hard day.  I am whiny right now!  I did 15 minutes of core exercise and then felt sick to my stomach for the next hour or so.  I am so badly out of shape, it is pathetic.  Then every time I go to clean something something breaks or acts up.  My washer keeps saying overload.  I am trying to weed through and wash clothes to give away.  While vacuuming I somehow broke the hose part of it.  Does anyone else get really clumsy when they clean?  I always feel like I am trudging through mud about 30 minutes into a cleaning spree.  I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted accomplished.  And my 14 yo who was supposed to clean her room after math has been sitting there doing math (or probably not really doing it) for 3 hours.  She's still gotta clean the d#&m room though.  Darn!  Washer making overload beeping noise again!  I give up!

Hey guys! Just a quick pop in say "hi!" We moved in on Friday, it snowed about a foot on Saturday. Moved the rest of the stuff in on Sunday. We are living in our new and tiny house as of last night.

No wireless yet, so I will be around at weird times.

Have a great day!

Thanks, Tammy.  I always get grouchy on the second day of a diet.  And my 21 yo old keeps bringing home brownies and chocolate chip cookies!  Must. stay. strong.

Got done with one of the things that was hanging over my head and annoying people.  And some other work, too.

So far a pretty good day.  But I sense something brewing with my boss - something I likely don't have the stamina for tonight ....

Kids are in bed and I'm winding down..

I'd really like to know why my kids always get the most homework on Monday, which also happens to be their busiest evening for activities.  So our choices are, skip swimming/shower, skip gymnastics (my kid's favorite), or stay up late.

Today another mom asked if her kid could hang out with mine before soccer practice tomorrow, since they have a scheduling issue.  Sounds great.  Hopefully the kids will be motivated to clean up and get their homework done early, so they can play hostess and have some fun.  :)
